Making a 2nd straight apperance in the Collegeinsider.com Post-Season Tourney, the Pacific Tigers (disclaimer, also my alma mater!) went on the road and beat WCC School Loyola Marymount University 86-76 to advance to the quarterfinals of the CIT. Forward Sam Willard led the way with 23 points and 17 rebounds, to lead 5 Tigers in double figures, including Manteca's own Michael Nunally with 12 points, Merced native Allen Huddleston with 11 points (told you this blog is all about the valley!).
The Tigers will next face the University of Northern Colorado this monday, with the host school still to be announced.
